Come join us this coming Monday as usual to read, write, and share poems with one another. We'll be gathering in the Garden Room at the Museum of Art and History.

$2–7 cover fee at the door.


The night breaks down like this:

4:00–5:00     FREE Writing Workshop (sharing is optional)
5:30               Signup List Goes Out
6:00–7:00     Open Mic

More on this week's feature:

Victoria Morgan is a writer, performer, playwright, and defender of the Oxford Comma. She is a 2017 Berkeley Poetry Slam team member and the 2017 Berkeley Grand Champion. Her work has appeared in the Rising Phoenix Review, Main Squeeze Lit Journal, and Into the Void Magazine. She has also been featured on Button Poetry's YouTube channel for her poem, "How to Succeed in Heartbreak”, which has over 500k views to date. She holds a BFA in Creative Writing from Southern Oregon University and currently resides in Benicia, California where she teaches kids how to write good.

 


All ages, styles, backgrounds, beliefs, and needs are welcomed.
