Come join us this coming Monday for our weekly poetry event. We'll be writing together, listening to one another's poems, and generally catching up.

Held in the Garden Room at the MAH. $2-10 cover fee at the door.

The night breaks down like this:
4:00 - Writing Workshop
5:30 - Open Mic List Goes Out
6:00 - Poetry Begins
7:00 - This Week's Featured Poet: Mic Ting

More on this week's feature:
Michael “Mic” Ting is an Asian American poet born and raised in the Bay Area. He has competed on three national slam poetry teams, and in 2015, he helped Team Palo Alto take 2nd at Group Piece Finals during the National Poetry Slam. In addition to performing as part of a team, Mic has also competed as an individual at IWPS 2018 (Individual World Poetry Slam), InkSlam, Southwest Shootout, and NUPIC (National Underground Poetry Individual Competition). His work can be found on PSI, SlamFind, and Write About Now. Mic is also the reigning 2018 IWPS champion and currently ranked as the #1 slam poet in the world.

All ages, styles, backgrounds, beliefs, and needs are welcomed. Respect is expected.
