  • Santa Cruz Musuem of Art and History 705 Front Street Santa Cruz, CA, 95060 (map)

Come join us this coming Monday to write, read, and hear each other's poetry. We'll be gathering in the Garden Room at the MAH.

$2-7 cover fee at the door.

This night breaks down like this:
4:00 - Writing Workshop
5:30 - Open Mic List Goes Out
6:00 - Poetry Begins!
7:00 - This Week's Featured Poet: Feral the Earthworm

More on this week's feature:

"Originally from Houston, Feral the Earthworm fled to Austin in 2012 in hopes of escaping various hardships going on at home. For nearly five years he lived in Texas' liberal oasis recording albums, attending open mics, and working as a pedicab driver. It became clear to him that for growth to occur, something had to change. After winning Lyricist of the Year at Austin's 2016 Hip Hop Awards Feral the Earthworm finished building out his totally sweet, roving solar-studio-camper-van and hit the road. Since then he's traveled all around the country playing small shows while making meaningful connections with those who lend their ears. He says he's happy."

Bring a pen, a poem, a friend. All ages, styles, backgrounds, beliefs, and needs are welcomed. Respect is expected.

See you there,
Legendary Collective
