Come join us this coming Monday to write, read, and yell poetry!
We'll be gathering in the Garden Room at the MAH for a writing workshop followed by an open mic. 

$2-7 cover fee at the door, which can be paid in either cash or through venmo.

The night breaks down like this:
4:00 - Writing Workshop
5:30 - Open Mic List Goes Out
6:00 - Poetry Begins!
7:00 - This Week's Featured Poet: Abe Becker

"Abe Becker was recently published in Fifth Wednesday Journal, Drunk In A Midnight Choir, Cogitate, After Happy Hour Review, and other publications. He is the 2018 Berkeley Grand Slam Champion, a Grand Slam Champion of Cal Slam (at UC Berkeley), a CUPSI finalist as both poet and coach, and winner of Group Piece Finals at the National Poetry Slam. He hosts a monthly new work showcase for Nomadic Press in Oakland where he takes care of humans and pets."
